LLC Reinstatements
Restore Your Company's Good Standing
When an LLC fails to comply with state rules and regulations, it can lose its "good standing". The company must formally address its violations and apply to be reinstated to good standing status.
Don't allow your LLC to lose its good standing and become involuntarily dissolved:
- Follow your state's rules and regulations regarding franchise taxes, business licenses and permits, and any other fees or taxes.
- Failure to comply with state requirements can lead to involuntary dissolution and result in loss of good standing with the state.
- If an LLC is revoked, its owners could lose the legal protections they gained by forming the LLC.
LLC owners can return a revoked business to good standing status through a formal reinstatement filing.
LLC.com can assist you with your reinstatement filing. We will:
- Complete the reinstatement paperwork.
- Identify and collect the fees to complete your company reinstatement.
- Forward appropriate paperwork to you for signature, when necessary.
- Submit the appropriate forms and payment to the Secretary of State.
- Notify you of the official reinstatement, once we have received the approval notice.
